ALGO debuts its new mobile application for employees

» Learn more

Québec, Québec (June 3, 2015) – During the Trade Show which was held in conjunction with The Canadian Payroll Association’s Annual Conference, ALGO officially launched its new mobile application for tablets and smartphones. On sale this fall for both Android and iOS devices, this new application will allow company employees to use the AZUR human resource, time and payroll software created by ALGO to execute certain tasks and access various information pertaining to their file.

Among other things, the new tool will allow employees to directly punch in and out using their phone. The data thus collected will be crosschecked with the employee’s geographic location, using their phone’s GPS function. The information will then be relayed to the AZUR software’s Supervisor Portal to be revised and approved, then sent to the Payroll Module. If the client so requires, ALGO could also run payroll, make bank transfers, as well as pay out source deductions and prepare payroll stubs which would be accessible via the mobile application. In addition to these functions, employees will also be able to view their schedule.

For ALGO, this is the beginning of exciting new ventures concerning mobile applications. “Our development plan for the next few years includes many new products which can be used with tablets and smartphones. To that effect, we are already working on what we believe our clients will want to use in the next two to three years,” stated Denis Lesieur, President at ALGO.
